Glass partitions are used throughout modern offices because they keep spaces bright and open. Unfortunately, scratches from fit-out work, furniture, signage, cleaning or day-to-day use can become very noticeable under office lighting.
Why replacement can be disruptive
Large partition panels may be bonded into channels, fitted alongside doors or incorporated into a complete partitioning system. Replacing one pane can involve access restrictions, ordering lead times and disruption to an occupied workplace.
When restoration may be an alternative
If the glass is intact and the damage is suitable, professional polishing can sometimes remove or substantially improve surface scratching while the panel remains in place. Scratch depth, glass type, coatings and proximity to edges all need to be checked first.
